DESCRIPTION:Following Christmas\, the Parks Department will once again be accepting Christmas trees for recycling in the designated area in the Brannon Gerhart Park parking lot\, off of Valley Parkway between Buckthorn and Mahonia. \nRemove all ornaments\, tinsel\, wood bases with nails and plastic bags to avoid damaging the tree chipper and minimizing the risk of injuries to the operators. Trees will be accepted until Sunday\, Jan. 17. The wood chippings generated will be used to mulch tree dishes and planting beds throughout the Park.
